Privacy policy

  1. General

We take the protection of personal data very seriously and adhere strictly to the rules of data protection laws (DSGVO, TKG, MedienG, ECG, UGB). The collected data are protected by technical and organizational measures to the best of our ability. Personal data is only processed internally. There is no transfer to third parties. Exceptions to this apply only in the case of medical or legal obligation, or if you have expressly consented to such disclosure.

This statement is intended to give you an overview of how we ensure this protection and what type of data is collected for what purpose.

  2. Connection and runtime data

For the early detection of errors, for the optimization of our homepages or for the measurement and evaluation of our communication campaigns, technical information about the browser / connection is automatically stored in the server log when calling our websites, including browser type / version, operating system, IP address of the computer, Connection identification, linking origin page (referrer URL) and date / time.

These data can not be assigned to specific persons. A combination of this data with other data sources (for example, any registration data, see 4. Notifiable services) is not performed. The data will be cleared according to the specified procedure in the Privacy Policy.

By using this website, you consent to the processing of your data by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. The data collection and storage can be objected to at any time with future effect. In view of the discussion about the use of analysis tools with complete IP addresses, we would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the anonymizeIp extension and therefore IP addresses are only shortened to avoid direct personal relationships.

  3. Notifiable services

If you wish to use the personalized (partially paid) offers and services offered on the Website (such as newsletters, registration for our information events), we must collect additional information from you in order to properly provide these services to you.

This includes your name, your e-mail address and other information (eg place of residence, telephone number). Only with this information is it possible for us to verify that you are the legitimate owner of a given email address (to prevent improper registrations), to send email messages, to register for events, or to provide properly invoiced services.

Depending on the particular service, you may provide us with further information (eg age, personal messages) in the context of registrations / applications on a voluntary basis (for example, via corresponding form fields). This information helps us to simplify and accelerate processes in communication with you or for the provision of our services, and we use them to tailor our treatment offerings, to provide further information and tips and to maintain contact.

This additional information (e.g., email address) is usually personal data, or data that enables the identification of your identity. A transfer to third parties does not take place (see 1. General).

Basically, however, the general use of the non-restricted areas / services on our websites does not require such disclosure of your identity.

  4. Cookies

As usual on websites today, we also use cookies. These serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and stored by your browser. You can prevent the use of cookies by adjusting settings in your browser. We point out that in this case, some functions of the website are disabled and no longer available to you. Our cookies do not harm your computer and contain no viruses.

  5. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies (see 5. Cookies), which allow monitoring of website use. The information requested by the cookie is determined by Google and transmitted to and stored on its server network (for example in the USA). Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties, if required by law or as far as third parties process this data on behalf of Google. According to the current state of the explanations Google will not associate your IP address with other data from Google. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data collected via your browser or the Google cookie in the manner described above and for the purpose stated above.

  6. Social Plugins (z.B.”share-buttons”)

We hereby expressly point out that social plugins (e.g., Facebook-like buttons) in the background partially transmit user data to the servers of the respective social network (e.g., Facebook) with appropriate user interaction (e.g., clicking). You are aware of this process. Outside of our servers, the responsibility for data processing lies with the provider or operator of the respective social network.

  7. Remarketing/Retargeting (z.B Google Display Network)

Remarketing technology is used to present interest-based ads to Internet users. For this purpose, a cookie is stored in the browser of the website visitor (see 5. Cookies), which makes it possible to recognize the visitor on other pages, and to present him information (including advertisements) on topics relevant to him.

Google claims to collect no personal information during this process. However, if you do not want to do this, you can opt out via the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising through the Network Initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

  8. Objection to the (further) data processing and use

The consent to the storage of your personal data and their use for the provision of the respective services can be revoked at any time. Please note that even after your objection to the use and / or storage of your data, we may process your data to the required extent for billing purposes.

Furthermore, the objection to further use of the data means that you may not be able to obtain further services or that the provision of our services will be discontinued immediately. Your personal data will be deleted in this context and will not be kept in our inventory.

  9. Right of information

Taking into account the criteria and the regulated procedures in accordance with the Data Protection Directive, you have the right to get information about the nature and scope of the data stored about you, their origin and their recipients and the purpose of the storage. (see 11. Contact for privacy concerns).
